Job Purpose
To perform laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with quality standards, laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, and prescribed turnaround times (TAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, label, process, and analyze patient samples.
- Perform laboratory tests as per SOPs and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure timely reporting and adherence to TAT.
- Perform Internal & External Quality Control (IQC/EQC) activities.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
- Monitor reagent and consumable inventory and ensure proper utilization.
- Maintain laboratory documentation and patient records.
- Follow laboratory safety, infection control,
and biomedical waste management protocols.
- Report critical values and non-conformities to the concerned authority.
- Coordinate effectively with Pathologists, clinicians, and team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with organizational policies.
Qualification
- DMLT / BMLT / MLT or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in a Diagnostic Laboratory, Hospital Laboratory, or Pathology Laboratory.
