Key Responsibilities

Labour Operations

- Coordinate daily deployment of labour teams across assigned farms.

- Ensure timely attendance and productivity of field workers.

- Monitor labour accommodation and field readiness before deployment.

- Conduct regular field visits to audit work quality and compliance with SOPs.

- Support supervisors and labour teams in resolving operational challenges.

Farmer Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with banana farmers.

- Ensure farmers are informed about scheduled activities and work timelines.

- Resolve first-level farmer complaints and operational issues.

- Collect farmer feedback and share improvement recommendations.

Field Operations

- Supervise banana fruit care activities such as bunch covering, bagging, dehandling, bunch spraying, propping, and other crop-stage interventions.

- Ensure activities are completed according to company quality standards.

- Monitor execution timelines and maintain service quality.

- Report operational deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain accurate attendance, deployment, and field activity records.

- Update daily reports through the Phala mobile application.

- Monitor labour productivity and service completion.

- Report supply-demand gaps, operational risks, and escalation cases to the Operations Manager.

Process Compliance

- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and operational guidelines.





- Promote consistent usage of the Phala application among field teams.

- Maintain discipline, safety, and operational standards across assigned clusters.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field (preferred).

- Diploma or relevant field experience will also be considered.

Experience

- 1–4 years of experience in agricultural field operations, banana cultivation, horticulture, or rural operations.

- Experience managing field teams, labour, or farmer-facing operations is preferred.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of banana crop lifecycle and fruit care practices.

- Knowledge of banana-growing regions in Solapur and nearby areas.

- Solid field coordination and team management skills.

- Excellent communication in Marathi and Hindi.

- Ability to resolve operational issues independently.

- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications for reporting.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

- Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence.

- Willingness to travel extensively across Solapur, Tembhurni, Akluj, Indapur, and nearby villages.

- Comfortable working in field-based environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supervising agricultural labour teams.

- Familiarity with banana fruit care activities and harvesting operations.

- Experience working with farmers, FPOs, or agri-tech companies.

- Knowledge of digital agriculture or field management applications.
