We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong programming skills in Python or Scala to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python or Scala.

- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best engineering practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of backend development experience.

- Strong proficiency in Python or Scala.

- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.





- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

- Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.

- Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and distributed systems.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
