Job Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting bank receipts in SAP as per bank statements on a daily basis
- Handling taxation, including GST and TDS
- Maintaining complete and accurate accounting records
- Performing bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation
- Managing IRN reconciliation
- Handling debit and credit notes
- Booking sales and purchase entries
- Coordinating with clients and following up on payments
- Posting journal entries and expense bookings
- Recording payments and receipts
- Managing invoice documentation and records
- Ensuring proper filing for audit and compliance purposes
- Maintaining organized records of invoices, payments, and correspondence
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred)
- Experience with accounting software such as SAP (FICO) or Tally
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
