Eligibility

- CFA Level 2; &
- 0-6 months experience in:
- Private Equity / Venture Capital (only candidates having investment experience and firms with at least $10 MM AUM)
- Front-End Investment Banking in a top tier investment banking firm

- 6+ months experience in:

- Front-End Investment Banking in an emerging boutique investment banking firm
- Back or Middle Office roles in a bulge bracket investment banking firms supporting their front-end IB team
- Investment Banking KPO
- Financial Due Diligence in Big 4
- Commercial Due Diligence in top tier Consulting Firm (MBB, Alvarez & Marsal, AT Kearney, Praxis Global, etc.)
- Credit Rating agency
- Equity Research

Program Duration

24 months of the Fellowship: • 6 months under Fellowship + • 6 months under Junior Analyst 1 + • 6 months under Junior Analyst 2 + • 6 months under Junior Analyst 3

Compensation

- First 0-6 months (Fellowship) ₹3,60,000 per annum
- Next 7-12 months (Junior Analyst 1) ₹5,00,000 per annum
- Final 13-18 months (Junior Analyst 2) ₹7,00,000 per annum
- Final 19-24 months (Junior Analyst 3) ₹9,00,000 per annum

Intake : 2 candidates every quarter

What You Can Expect

- Front-end role – direct interaction with start-up founders from Day 1

What You Will Work On

- Interaction with start-up founders from day 1 in evaluation of potential deals
- Assisting the deal lead in entire deal execution including being part of Dexter-Investor calls Company-Investor calls
- Collateral preparation including financial model, IM, Teasers, competition benchmarking, valuation comps, etc.
- Coordination of various due diligence processes (tax, financial, legal,



etc.), investor/client calls meetings, etc
- Deal documentation closure processes
- Industry/sector research for deal sourcing assist in finalizing M&A;/VC/PE mandates
- Preparation and updation of marketing materials for clients, media, conferences, etc.
- Updating internal MIS/databases

- Post filling the form, we will share the assessment test link with the selected candidates. The test would have a moderate difficulty level and would be time-bound so the candidate(s) may brush up on their knowledge and may give some mock tests before appearing for the actual test. A percentile method with a minimum cut-off score would be used to shortlist candidates.
- On clearing the test, the selected candidates thereafter would need to go through a rigorous interview process with a minimum of 2 rounds which can last up to 4 rounds before final selection can be made.
- If the candidate does not get shortlisted, he/she may re-apply again after in 3 months upon improving his/her skillset.
- The selected candidate would be on a contract basis while undergoing training and would convert into a full-time employee post-successful completion of the program.
- The duration of each program i.e Fellowship, Junior Analyst 1, Junior Analyst 2 and Junior Analyst 3 will be 6 months each




- Post successful completion of the Fellowship and based on the supervisor’s evaluation (2 evaluations every two months and a final evaluation at the end of the Fellowship), the Fellowship may be converted into Junior Analyst 1 which post successful completion and upon evaluation may be further converted into Junior Analyst 2. Upon successful completion and evaluation of performance in Junior Analyst 2, a Junior Analyst 3 may be offered; and on completion of Junior Analyst 3 and upon evaluation – a full-time offer of employment for the role of Investment Banking Analyst may be extended to the candidate.
- In the event, the candidate has not completed the academic program or the candidate’s performance has not been at the desired level, and a full-time offer is not extended, the program duration may be extended by 3 to 6 months in which the candidate would be required to overcome the deficiencies as pointed out in evaluation and convert this into a full-time position, failing which a full-time offer shall not be extended.
- The program can be terminated at any point in time in the event of indiscipline; lack of sincerity towards work or other extraordinary circumstances.
- Candidates are encouraged to enroll for CFA Levels 1/2/3. Examination fees will initially be covered by the candidate and reimbursed upon passing the CFA exam and after completing 12 months from CFA results, subject to continuous employment.
- Company does not provide any relocation expenses.
- The candidate while pursuing the Fellowship would not have access to Company’s insurance/health care benefits. However, once the candidate converts into full-time employment then standard healthcare/insurance perks which are applicable to all other team members would be available.
