About Us
La Liberté French Institute is one of the leading French language institutes in Pondicherry, providing high-quality French language training for beginners to advanced learners. We specialize in DELF, TEF Canada, TCF, and Spoken French, with both online and offline learning programs.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated French Language Tutors who can teach students in person at our Reddiarpalayam and Lawspet branches.
Important Eligibility
This is an OFFLINE teaching position.
✔ Only candidates currently residing in Pondicherry (Puducherry) can apply.
❌ Applications from other states will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Teach French language from Beginner (A1) to Intermediate (B2) levels.
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions.
- Teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Prepare students for DELF and TEF examinations.
- Correct assignments and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain student attendance and classroom discipline.
- Conduct revision sessions and mock tests.
- Encourage students to communicate confidently in French.
- Follow the institute's syllabus and teaching methodology.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions whenever required.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Minimum DELF B1 certification (B2 or above preferred)
- OR Bachelor's/Master's degree in French
- Excellent French grammar knowledge
- Clear and accurate French pronunciation
- Good French accent and spoken communication skills
- Good command of English for explaining concepts to beginners
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Preferred Skills
- Experience teaching DELF A1, A2, B1 and B2
- Experience preparing students for TEF Canada or TCF
- Strong classroom management skills
- Friendly, patient and professional attitude
- Ability to motivate students
- Punctual and responsible
- Comfortable using PowerPoint, Google Classroom or Zoom (if required)
Experience
- Freshers with strong French proficiency may apply.
- 1–5 years of teaching experience is preferred.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
Flexible Full time and Part-time positions available.
Weekend classes may be scheduled based on batch requirements.
