Electrical Design Engineer – AutoCAD (Industrial / Automation)

We are looking for an experienced Electrical AutoCAD Engineer to join our

engineering team. The role involves detailed electrical design and documentation for

industrial machines, induction heating systems, and automation projects. The

candidate should be comfortable working with electrical drawings of control panels,

power distribution, and automation-related drawings.

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs

using AutoCAD Electrical

 Develop and maintain control panel drawings as per project requirements

and standards

 Coordinate with mechanical, controls, and commissioning teams during

design and execution

 Interpret customer specifications, standards, and internal design guidelines

 Assist in drive, PLC, and HMI-related wiring documentation

 Ensure drawings comply with project-specific standards

 Support troubleshooting by providing accurate as-built drawings

 Maintain proper revision control and documentation

 Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently

Required Skills & Qualifications

 1- 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical design

 Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (mandatory)

 Good understanding of:

o VFDs / Drives

o PLC systems

o HMI systems

o Industrial control circuits

 Knowledge of:

o Power distribution, control panels, Inverters

o Sensors, relays, contactors, breakers, transformers

 Ability to read and create single-line diagrams (SLD)





 Familiarity with industrial safety practices and standards

 Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred / Added Advantage

 Experience in industrial automation, induction heating, or heavy

machinery

 Exposure to PLC & HMI systems

 Site exposure or commissioning support experience.

 Knowledge of earthing, cable sizing, and protection devices

The range for the salary is INR 20,000 – INR 30,000 per month. The actual salary will be offered based on the relevant experience and existing CTC.
