Role Description The Interior Designer at HAIR RAP BY YOYO will be responsible for designing and enhancing salon spaces that reflect the brand's creative and holistic identity. This full-time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves developing interior concepts, planning functional layouts, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that support both client comfort and efficient salon operations. The Interior Designer will collaborate closely with the salon founder and management to translate brand vision into cohesive design schemes, prepare detailed construction drawings, and coordinate with contractors and vendors during execution. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, reviewing architectural elements, managing project timelines,



and ensuring that all design solutions meet safety standards, budget requirements, and quality expectations. The role also includes ongoing improvements to existing spaces to keep the salon environment fresh, stylish, and aligned with emerging trends.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and FF&E; selection, with the ability to create functional, stylish, and brand-aligned salon environments.
- Strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture coordination to ensure optimal flow, comfort, and usability within salon areas.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings, including detailed layouts, elevations, and specifications for contractors.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with material and finish specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with creative, operations, and vendor teams.
- Strong aesthetic sense, attention to detail, and interest in salon, retail, or hospitality design trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to explain design concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of basic building codes, safety standards, and practical considerations for high-traffic customer spaces.
