About the Role

Lovely Professional University (LPU) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Senior Admissions Professional to lead student recruitment initiatives and drive admissions growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in higher education admissions, student counselling, lead conversion, and team leadership, with the ability to develop and execute high-impact admission strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end admissions process from inquiry generation to enrolment.
- Develop and execute admission strategies to achieve institutional enrolment targets.
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, career pathways, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Manage high-value admission leads and ensure timely follow-ups for maximum conversion.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate admission counsellors to improve productivity and conversion rates.
- Analyse admission funnel metrics, conversion ratios, and market trends to optimize recruitment strategies.
- Build and strengthen relationships with schools, colleges, coaching institutes, corporate partners, and education consultants.
- Plan and execute admission drives, education fairs, seminars, webinars, and outreach campaigns across multiple regions.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Academic, Operations, and Student Services teams to deliver a seamless admission experience.
- Utilize CRM platforms to track inquiries, applications, conversions, and generate insightful MIS reports.




- Identify new markets and partnership opportunities to expand student outreach.
- Ensure compliance with institutional admission policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Continuously improve admission processes to enhance applicant experience and operational efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 7–15 years of experience in Admissions, Student Recruitment, Enrolment Management, or Higher Education.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding admission and enrolment targets.
- Strong leadership experience in managing admissions teams.
- Excellent counselling, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Robust analytical mindset with experience in admissions analytics and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and admission management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel for admission campaigns, school outreach, and educational events.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from a recognized university.
- Experience in Universities, Higher Education Institutions, EdTech, or Large Educational Organizations will be preferred.
- MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
