We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer specialising in Angular to join our product and engineering team. You will take a leading role in the design, development, and evolution of modern web applications used by global industrial clients.

This position is suited to a senior frontend engineer with strong experience in product-based companies, contemporary Angular development, frontend architecture, and the delivery of scalable software products throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of modern Angular applications.
- Define and improve frontend architecture, technical standards, and development practices.
- Build scalable, reusable, responsive, and accessible user-interface components.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested TypeScript code.
- Apply modern Angular features and patterns, including standalone components, signals, reactive forms, routing, dependency injection, and RxJS.
- Make technical decisions regarding application structure, state management, component design, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, and domain experts to define and deliver product features.
- Translate complex product and business requirements into intuitive frontend experiences.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.
- Design and maintain suitable state-management solutions using Angular signals, NgRx, Signal Store, or similar patterns.
- Improve application performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, and security.
- Establish and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.
- Identify and resolve complex technical and production issues.
- Contribute to continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, and release processes.
- Mentor frontend developers and support their technical development.
- Collaborate on product roadmaps, technical planning, and long-term platform improvements.
- Take ownership of major features and frontend initiatives from discovery through release and ongoing improvement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 7 years of professional frontend development experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience building applications with Angular.
- Strong commercial experience with recent Angular versions.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern browser technologies.
- Strong experience working in a product-based software company or developing a long-term commercial software product.
- Deep understanding of Angular architecture, component design, services, routing,



forms, dependency injection, change detection, and application lifecycle.
- Strong practical experience with RxJS and reactive programming.
- Experience designing scalable frontend architectures for complex applications.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of application state-management patterns.
- Experience building responsive and cross-browser applications.
- Advanced knowledge of CSS, Sass, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and component styling strategies.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, clean architecture, clean code, and maintainable application design.
- Experience with Git, pull-request workflows, code reviews, and collaborative software development.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience taking ownership of complex features or technical initiatives.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with contemporary Angular features, including standalone components, signals, computed signals, effects, and signal-based state management.
- Experience migrating legacy Angular applications to newer Angular versions and architectures.
- Experience with Angular Material, CDK, or similar component libraries.
- Advanced experience with NgRx, Signal Store, or equivalent state-management solutions.
- Experience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, reporting tools, or analytical platforms.
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
- Experience improving frontend performance, Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and rendering efficiency.
- Experience with monorepo tools such as Nx.
- Experience with frontend observability, error tracking, and application monitoring.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated frontend deployments.
- Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, and containerised development environments.
- Experience working in Agile product teams.
- Experience mentoring developers, leading frontend initiatives, or acting as a technical lead.
- Familiarity with industrial, engineering, energy, data analytics, or B2B software products is an advantage.
