Senior Mechanical Engineer – Power Transmission (5–10 Years Experience)

About the Role

AniGears Engineering Solutions is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong technical knowledge of power transmission products. The candidate should be confident in interacting with customers, understanding plant requirements, providing engineering solutions, and supporting business development through technical and commercial discussions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct technical meetings and sales presentations with customers.
- Visit industrial plants across India to understand customer requirements.
- Take site measurements for couplings, cardan shafts, sprockets, pulleys, and other power transmission products.
- Discuss technical solutions with plant maintenance, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Resolve technical issues and provide suitable product recommendations.
- Deliver technical seminars and product demonstrations for customers.
- Participate in commercial discussions and support quotation finalization.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams for product development and customization.
- Prepare technical reports, visit reports, and measurement sheets.
- Develop strong relationships with steel plants, cement plants, mining industries,



power plants, and other heavy industries.

Desired Experience

Experience in one or more of the following products is preferred:

- Gear Couplings
- Pin Bush Couplings
- Grid Couplings
- Cardan Shafts
- Industrial Sprockets
- V-Pulleys
- Conveyor Power Transmission Equipment
- Industrial Gearboxes or Rotating Equipment

Required Skills

- Excellent technical knowledge of power transmission equipment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and plant layouts.
- Confident in customer interactions and problem-solving.
- Strong commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, professional, and willing to travel extensively.

Language Requirements

Preferred proficiency in:

- English
- Hindi
- Bengali
- Odia (preferred)

Travel

- Extensive travel across India is required.
- Travel Allowance (TA) and other approved travel expenses will be provided by the company.
