Role Overview

The Procurement Head will lead the company’s overall procurement strategy, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, vendor development, and timely material availability for all projects. The role demands a seasoned professional with expertise in large-scale project procurement across civil, mechanical, and MEP domains. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing procurement policies, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of organization-wide procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee material and service procurement for all projects, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks are met.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and long-term contracts to optimize value and performance.
- Establish procurement budgets, monitor expenditure,



and ensure adherence to company policies and audit standards.
- Implement systems and processes for demand forecasting, cost control, and risk mitigation.
- Drive digital transformation and process improvements through ERP-based procurement management.
- Collaborate with project, finance, and design teams to ensure material and service requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
- Mentor and guide the procurement team to strengthen sourcing capabilities and vendor networks.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering / MBA (Supply Chain Management) preferred.
- 12–15 years of experience in large-scale project procurement within construction or EPC sectors.
- Solid leadership, negotiation, and strategic sourcing abilities.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based procurement systems and cost optimization.
