We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer (Node.js + AI) with 4
-6 years of experience in building scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js (mandatory) and hands-on experience working with LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, and modern AI frameworks.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js .
- Build and optimise microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered solutions leveraging LLMs and Generative AI technologies.
- Build AI agents, copilots, chatbots, and workflow automation systems.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and embedding models.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and AI teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and drive technical best practices.

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js (Mandatory) and Type Script/Java Script.
- Experience building and scaling REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and backend architecture.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.

AI/Generative AI Requirements:

- Hands-on experience integrating and working with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AWS Bedrock, etc.

- Experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or autonomous systems.
- Solid understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or similar.




- Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Llama Index, CrewAI, or Auto Gen.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI observability.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or other messaging systems.
- Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol) and multi-agent systems.
- Experience building enterprise SaaS products at scale.
- Knowledge of security, authentication, and authorisation best practices.
