JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities and Duties

- To edit manuscripts submitted by Authors for final production
- To deliver projects within agreed schedules
- To coordinate with Authors, Illustrators and Artists (setting and enforcing deadlines)
- To evaluate and improvise on manuscripts submitted by Authors
- To ensure participation in training sessions that could require presentations, case studies (inputs to the sales team with USP’s of the books )
- To work with Directors for proposals of new project and improvement of current textbooks.
- To identify freelance editors and authors

Job Location

Pitampura, Delhi (Timings – 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Mon – Sat)

Basic Requirements

- A. English, M.A. English
- Min experience of 3 years
- Experience of ELT would be an advantage
- Senior School teachers are highly preferred
- Experience in publishing house (K 12 segment) will be preferred

The candidate should be well aware of the current trends in publishing industry and should be familiar with school curriculum. Creativity, team player, multitasking are key personality traits we are looking for.
