Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Cardiac Care Technology / Echocardiography or relevant allied healthcare discipline
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

- Perform 2D Echocardiography procedures with accuracy and maintain high imaging standards.
- Conduct Exercise Stress Test (TMT) and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) as per clinical protocols.
- Prepare examination rooms by ensuring equipment readiness, adequate supplies, and reviewing physician orders.
- Explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and provide assistance to ensure patient comfort.
- Position patients appropriately, apply ultrasound gel and electrodes, and operate echocardiography equipment efficiently.
- Acquire and optimize diagnostic images by adjusting transducer positioning and imaging parameters.
- Record, analyze, and document examination findings, including cardiac measurements, chamber dimensions, wall motion, blood flow direction, and velocity.
- Identify imaging artifacts and ensure accurate diagnostic image acquisition.




- Maintain complete and accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to all infection control, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of diagnostic equipment.
- Stay updated with advancements in echocardiography and related diagnostic technologies through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Cardiac Care Technology, Echocardiography, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an ECHO Technician in a hospital or diagnostic center.
- Proficiency in performing 2D Echo, TMT, and PFT procedures.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
