We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant (Financial Data Analyst) to join our team and contribute to successful financial data migration projects.

Job Summary

As a Financial Accountant (Financial Data Analyst), you will play a key role in migrating financial data from clients' existing accounting systems into our ERP platform. You will analyze financial records, prepare data for migration, reconcile accounts, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information throughout the implementation process.

This role is ideal for accounting professionals who enjoy working with financial data, ERP systems, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect and review financial data from clients' existing accounting software.
- Analyze and validate Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Bank Reconciliation reports.
- Prepare financial data files for migration into the company's ERP solution.
- Perform financial data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration.
- Reconcile books of accounts after migration to ensure complete accuracy.
- Verify migrated financial and non-financial data.
- Collaborate with implementation and technical teams during ERP deployment.
- Assist in testing and validating financial data within the ERP system.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues during migration.




- Ensure timely completion of assigned migration projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial information and project requirements.
- Participate in evening client calls from home whenever project requirements demand.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of overall accounting experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of:
- Trial Balance
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Bank Reconciliation
- General Ledger
- Financial Reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, data validation, filtering, sorting, and reporting.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Candidates with experience in any of the following will have an added advantage:
