Key Responsibilities of an Accountant

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, TCS

· Experience in automobile dealership accounting

· Proficiency in DMS, accounting software, and Excel-based MIS

· Strong coordination and control mindset

Analytical and compliance-oriented approach

- Financial Reporting: Accountants prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide a explicit picture of the organization's financial health. 2
- Data Analysis: They analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, assisting management in making informed financial decisions. 2
- Tax Compliance: Accountants ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, advising on tax planning strategies, and staying updated on changes in tax laws. 2
- Auditing: They conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies. 2
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Accountants help in preparing budgets and financial forecasts,



monitoring expenditures, and providing insights to optimize resource allocation. 2
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized financial records is crucial. Accountants are responsible for recording transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring data integrity. 2
