Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam for multi-axis machining of aerospace and defense components.
- Program complex parts made from hard metals such as Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium, ensuring precision and adherence to aerospace tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret GD&T;, aerospace blueprints, and machining specifications.
- Optimize toolpaths, cutting tools, and fixturing to reduce cycle times and improve production efficiency.
- Utilize other CAM software platforms (NX, CATIA, Creo) and simulation tools like Vericut to validate machining strategies.
- Support global OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers by delivering high-quality manufacturing solutions in a service-based engineering setting.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing, and automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 Rev D processes and aerospace quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers/technicians on CNC programming, machining practices, and process optimization.
