Role Summary
We are looking for a technically capable Project cum Purchase Support Engineer to support our project execution team while managing procurement of materials, components, and services required for ongoing automation projects. This is a dual-role position combining hands-on project coordination with purchase and vendor management responsibilities — ideal for a fresher or early-career engineer who wants exposure to both technical execution and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support

- Assist the project team in planning, scheduling, and tracking automation project activities
- Coordinate with site/execution teams to understand material and technical requirements
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and material requirement lists
- Follow up on project timelines to ensure materials and resources are available as per schedule
- Support technical teams during project execution, testing, and commissioning phases

Purchase Support

- Source, evaluate,



and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for automation components, electrical panels, and project materials
- Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and negotiate pricing and delivery timelines
- Track deliveries and follow up with vendors to prevent project delays
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and technical specifications
- Maintain vendor database, purchase records, and related compliance documentation (GST/invoices)

Required Skills

- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Basic understanding of automation components, panels, and industrial materials preferred
- Good coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase/ERP tools
- Ability to read technical drawings/specifications is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and willingness to travel to sites when required

Preferred

- Prior internship/experience in project coordination, procurement, or engineering support roles
- Familiarity with vendor networks in Kerala
