- Understanding of PID (Process & Instrumentation Diagram) prepared by Process/Project team.
- Understanding of I/O list, cable schedule, Instrument list, cable tray schedule, Automation architecture, SLD & wiring drawing.
- Understanding of Motor Control Centre, electrical control panels, PLC panels & remote I/O panels.
- On-field experience of electrical and process automation erection & commissioning.
- Understanding of batching requirements and other typical processes used in food industry.
- Job Skills :
- Ability to create PLC program, HMI program & SCADA program based on standard operating procedure and P&ID.;
- Performing FAT of developed program in simulation and demonstration of same to internal and external stakeholders.
- Validation of panel wiring drawing and automation architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of field instruments and their connection.
- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols used in process plant automation.
- Hands-on experience in at least one PLC programming software (Rockwell / Siemens).
- Knowledge of servo motors and motion programming as an additional skill.
