Qualification

- A Degree/Diploma in nursing with 5 years experience.

- Registered nurse (RN) with KNC registration.

Knowledge

- Basic life support (BLS) and (ACLS) , code blue management

- Anatomy and physiology of Cardiovascular system

- Cardiology and Critical care related nursing procedures.

- Hospital policies and protocols.

Skills

- Positive and appropriate communication skills management.

- Development of staff to meet patients needs

- Decision making & Problem solving skills

Exclusive Job responsibilities

- Intend items from pharmcy and General store items as per the requirement.

- Maintaining the crash cart items and Hospital drug cart items drugs as per checklist and also check for expiry dates and replace immediately.

- Educate staff on hospital policies and protocol/bedside /clinical teaching.





- Assign duties to the staff as per the patient requirements in the ward.

- Perform rounds along with duty doctors and consultant.

- Maintaining checklist and register in CCU.

- Make sure all equipment is in proper working condition and if any problems occur, has to escalate to the biomedical person

- Ensure all procedures performed in the wards are billed.

- Monitor and ensure all discharge patients gets the discharge summary .

Supervision

- Overall performance of staffs

- Nurses documentation, care plan, assessment and reassessment.

Audit

- Stock check as per the checklist.

- Expiry date in Crash cart and Hospital Drug cart

- Status of the tasks assigned to staff

Participation

- Attending the ward in charge meetings.

- Instruct and share the instructions given by NM and Management.

- Involve in trainings.
