Job Description – Photographer & Video Editor

About the Role

Varthagam International is looking for a creative and passionate Photographer & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, creative thinking, and the ability to produce high-quality visual content that promotes our brand across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality photos and videos of products, company activities, employees, and events.
- Plan, shoot, and edit creative content for:
- Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Product advertisements
- E-commerce product listings
- Podcasts and interviews
- Brand campaigns and promotional videos
- Edit photos and videos using professional editing software.
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, and marketing videos that increase audience engagement.
- Develop creative concepts, storyboards, and content ideas for marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all visual content meets the company's branding guidelines.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams to execute content plans.
- Organize and maintain photo and video files for future use.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and content formats.

Skills & Requirements





- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Excellent knowledge of video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Knowledge of camera settings, lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualification

- Any Degree or Diploma.
- 1–3 years of experience in photography, videography, or video editing.
- Experience in the garment, textile, fashion, or e-commerce industry is an added advantage.
- A portfolio or sample of previous work is mandatory.
