Job Title: Structural engineer

Job location: Surat(site visit required as per project requirements)

Job role:

The Fabrication Structural Engineer will be responsible for preparing heavy structural steel 2D & 3D drawings, BOQ preparation, project estimation, structural feasibility review, and technical guidance for fabrication and erection activities. The role includes coordination with production, project, and site teams to ensure structurally safe, practical, and cost-effective execution of projects.

Key responsibility:

1. Prepare 2D/3D structural steel drawings for fabrication & erection, including GA, fabrication, connection, assembly drawings, and BOQ/material estimation.

2. Review and optimize structural designs for fabrication feasibility, cost efficiency, and IS code compliance.

3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, project, fabrication, and erection teams for technical clarifications and site support.

4. Conduct site inspections, resolve fabrication/erection issues,



and maintain drawing revisions and technical documentation.

Qualification required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Mechanical

2. Minimum 4–8 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and industrial project engineering

Skills required:

1. Strong knowledge of heavy structural steel design, fabrication, and structural feasibility.

2. Experience in fabrication drawings, BOQ preparation, estimation, and connection detailing.

3. Ability to review and modify designs as per site and fabrication requirements.

4. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and preferably Tekla Structures, SolidWorks, and STAAD.Pro.

Pay range: 35000 to 45000
