Job Description

Requirements

- 15+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or sustainability advisory with strong exposure to business development or practice building
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through deal wins, pipeline creation, and account expansion in sustainability or ESG-related services
- Strong techno-functional expertise with the ability to connect sustainability strategy and regulatory frameworks to technology solutions and architectures
- Deep understanding of ESG domains such as regulatory reporting, GHG accounting, carbon management, green IT, sustainable infrastructure, or supply chain sustainability
- Hands-on experience with ESG frameworks and standards including CSRD, TCFD, GRI, EU Taxonomy, IFRS S1/S2, and GHG Protocol (Scope 1, 2, and 3)
- Demonstrated experience in leading RFP responses, building proposals, and presenting in client bid discussions with a high success rate
- Knowledge of enabling technologies such as cloud platforms, data and analytics, AI/GenAI, ESG reporting tools, and sustainability-focused digital solutions
- Experience in driving organizational change initiatives including training, adoption strategies, and stakeholder engagement in sustainability programs
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively across board-level discussions, regulatory environments, and technical workshops

Responsibilities

- Drive growth of the Sustainability practice by building pipeline, pursuing deals,



and expanding revenue in collaboration with business unit leadership and client relationship owners
- Lead end-to-end pre-sales and business development activities including chance identification, RFP responses, solution design, and commercial structuring across BFSI and cross-industry clients
- Act as a senior domain expert in client engagements, engaging with CXOs including CIOs, CTOs, Chief Sustainability Officers, COOs, and Risk & Compliance leaders
- Define and evolve sustainability offerings across technology, operations, reporting, and organizational change, ensuring alignment with market demands and client challenges
- Develop go-to-market strategies around ESG reporting, regulatory compliance, green IT, sustainable cloud, GHG accounting, supply chain sustainability, and AI-driven sustainability solutions
- Build thought leadership through whitepapers, point of views, and insights to position the organization as a trusted sustainability partner
- Create reusable assets including ESG data models, reporting frameworks, maturity assessments, and solution accelerators to improve win rates and reduce sales cycles
- Conduct executive workshops and client discovery sessions to assess sustainability maturity and design transformation roadmaps
- Collaborate with leadership teams to identify target accounts, priority segments, and growth opportunities across financial services and other industries
- Build, mentor, and scale a team of sustainability consultants and solution experts to support practice growth
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with ESG platforms, cloud providers, and sustainability technology vendors such as SAP, Workiva, IBM Envizi, Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Provide domain oversight and ensure alignment between proposed solutions and delivery outcomes in strategic engagements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
