Role Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible to lead engineering and design activities for the BESS project, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with EPC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead complete design & engineering of BESS project (electrical, civil, system integration)
Review and approve design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications
Ensure design compliance with standards and regulatory guidelines
Coordinate with execution team to ensure design-to-site alignment
Optimize design for cost, efficiency, and performance
Support procurement team with technical inputs and vendor evaluation




Manage design risks and ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs
Contribute to enhancing grid stability and renewable integration through efficient design
Indicative Experience and Exposure
B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering
20+ years of experience in design & engineering (Power/EPC projects)
Strong expertise in electrical systems, substations, or energy storage systems
Experience in BESS / Renewable Energy Projects preferred
Solid knowledge of industry standards and design tools
Leadership experience managing large engineering teams
