Hiring: Linux / Windows System Administrator (Web Hosting)

We are looking for an experienced Linux / Windows System Administrator with hands-on experience in the web hosting industry.

Core Responsibilities

- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows hosting servers
- Administer control panels including cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Virtualmin, and similar platforms
- Perform server administration via SSH, shell/command line, and PuTTY
- Troubleshoot technical issues, conduct incident analysis and root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes
- Monitor infrastructure, services, uptime, and performance using tools such as Zabbix, OpManager, or similar
- Analyze server logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Handle client technical queries and issue resolution via ticket, email, and live chat support
- Implement server hardening, security monitoring, patching, and access control
- Configure server software, manage IP changes, migrations, and service optimizations
- Manage and troubleshoot mail services such as Exim, MailEnable, or equivalent platforms

Required Technical Skills

Linux

- Strong hands-on Linux server administration
- Good understanding of Linux environment, command line operations, process/service management, permissions, networking, and troubleshooting

Windows





- Windows Server administration experience including:
- Active Directory
- DNS
- IIS
- Email systems
- Plesk

Web Hosting Stack

- cPanel / WHM
- Plesk
- Virtualmin
- IIS
- Apache
- Nginx

Databases

- MySQL / MariaDB
- MariaDB Replication
- PostgreSQL
- SQL / RDBMS fundamentals

Storage

- RAID
- LVM
- SAN
- NAS / NFS fundamentals

Candidate Requirements

- Experience in a web hosting / server management environment is mandatory
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring and server security
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to independently handle customer technical issues

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent practical experience

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
