Application Engineer (Mechanical) - CAM Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a CAM Application Engineer with experience in Wire EDM and CNC Milling

Operation and Programming to join our International Technical Support department in our Bangalore

office.

We are looking for an experienced professional with proven knowledge in CNC operation, programming CNC

Machine operation and programming (G-code/or using CAM software), specifically in WireEDM technologies.

While expertise in Milling is not a prerequisite, it is highly valued for the position of Application Support

WireEDM in our Bangalore office.

The role will provide technical support for our CAM software to our local and international customers.

Requirements :

Specific:

● Mechanical/ Production engineer or equivalent (Diploma or Bachelor)

● 5+ years of work experience working with Wire EDM machine tools (operation and programming).

● 3+ years of work experience in using and programming with CAM software like Mastercam,

Solidcam etc.

● Demonstrable work experience in similar areas: SAT assistance, CNC programming, machine tool

operator etc.

● Experience in CNC milling machine operation or programming using any CAM solutions.

● CNC Manual programming knowledge and/or experience will be very valued (G-code writing)

● CAD software knowledge and/or experience working with Solidworks, Autocad etc.

General:

● Computer knowledge at user level (use of various software including document editors and

spreadsheet editors). Knowledge of Office Pack

● Candidate should be open for domestic travel in this role - 50% in India

● Advanced English level

Day to day job:

● Attend the local customers and solve the issues and doubts they may have on our CAM software

● Own the customers/accounts and be responsible and accountable for the solutions offered.

● Collaborate with our International Support Team to help them solve international customers' tickets

as per the company needs.

● Collaborate with the India Sales Team in the technical side of sales with demonstrations, training,

preparing benchmarks, visiting customers, solving doubts and more as per their needs.

● Collaborate with the Technical Team to help them create technical materials such as tutorials, help

files, demo videos and more as per their requests.

● Understanding the pressure of customers and the sales team,



should proactively support target

wins.

● Any other technical tasks that the company may require

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per year
