Hiring | Travel Consultant – Air Ticketing | Chennai (Work From Office)

Sutherland Global Services is hiring experienced Travel Consultants – Air Ticketing for its Chennai office.

Experience & Salary

L1 – 6 Months to 1.6 Years Experience

CTC: Up to ₹4.0 LPA
In-Hand Salary: ₹26,000/month
Performance Incentive: ₹2,700/month

Travel Allowance: ₹1,750 – ₹3,500/month

L2 – More than 1.6 Years Experience

CTC: Up to ₹4.5 LPA
In-Hand Salary: ₹30,000/month
Performance Incentive: ₹2,700/month

Travel Allowance: ₹1,750 – ₹3,500/month

Key Responsibilities

Handle domestic and international air ticket bookings.

Process ticket issuance, reissues, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and schedule changes.

Interpret airline fare rules and ensure accurate ticketing.

Handle complex itineraries, fare calculations, and booking modifications.

Deliver accurate, error-free transactions while maintaining quality standards.

Resolve customer queries with professionalism and empathy.

Work efficiently with airline systems and internal applications.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of Air Ticketing experience.

Hands-on experience with Amadeus is mandatory.



Experience with Sabre or Galileo is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of fare rules, refunds, reissues, exchanges, schedule changes, and rebooking.

Experience handling international ticketing is preferred.

Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication skills.

Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good understanding of MCOs, name corrections, residuals, NDC, and Farelogix is an added advantage.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web-based applications.

Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postgraduate candidates are eligible to apply.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Shift: 24×7 Rotational

Week Offs: 2 Rotational Week Offs
