As a Sr Software Engineer, this role would be attached to the Product Engineering Team which is responsible for architecting and developing Front End components that adhere to the product requirements. This role will be responsible for developing and testing the product for resilience, performance, and functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Designing & Developing user-facing applications using Vue.js
- Participate in Product Discovery - Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes to code
- Architect application for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in Code Reviews, Design Reviews and drive best practices
- Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with Vue.js and all project dependencies
- Building modular and reusable components and libraries
- Develop web pages using modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, CSS frameworks, JavaScript/Typescript, Axios
- Work with backend developer to integrate system RESTful API
- Debug and provide timely fixes for production issues
- Follow relevant and good coding & security practices
Requirements
- Relevant work experience of 5 - 7 years in Front End Technologies
- Proficient with atleast one of the Front End framework such as VueJS, ReactJS, AngularJS
- Experience in VueJS ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js is a Big Plus
- Experience in JS, HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap/Vuetify/Quasar)
- Proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features
- Proficient with framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and Axios
- Be a go-getter and enthusiastic with an attitude to learn and evolve
- Familiarity with REST API design
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills
