Unix / Linux administration experience: Linux/FreeBSD/OpenBSD, Apache, MySQL, Firewalls (ipfw, pf, iptables), VPN (openvpn, ipsec GRE tunnels) Windows administration experience: Server 2008, IIS, Active Directory, MS SQL, Exchange Cisco networking experience: VLAN tagging, Energetic Routing Protocols (BGP4, OSPF), Access-lists, Etherchannel Experience with hardware switches (specifically, HP): VLAN tagging, Trunking Advanced knowledge of server and desktop components and configurations: Assembling and configuring servers and desktops, RAID, SATA, GIGe, etc Working knowledge of scripting languages commonly used in systems administration: Shell scripting (bash, sh, tcsh), Perl, PowerShell

Job Description

Build, Monitor and maintaining servers. Hosting Websites and creating domain on dedicated servers. Taking periodic backup from server and maintaining records. Workstation Monitoring and tracking unusual activities.



Maintaining reports in excel / g-docs on a daily basis. Should be strong in Networking - troubleshooting router issues, Firewall / windows networking, DNS, DHCP & router configuration. Should have thorough understanding of LAN/WAN network expertise to provide the required support. Management of compliance with information security controls requirements. Implementation of information security policies and procedures for the Network setup. Hands on exp in troubleshooting Linux operating systems Experience with Disaster Recovery and Data Center Work with project managers to ensure managed system changes/ tasks are completed to meet business requirements. Identify the opportunities to improve overall operational performance & saving costs
