- Plan, facilitate, run the scrum routines (daily stand-up, planning, demo, retrospective meetings)
- Coordinate the tasks of various team members, manage interdependencies and remove impediments
- Prepare, manage & track schedules to meet commitments
- Support the product owner in creating and maintaining the product backlog
- Escalate issues and raise flags in a timely manner
- Track and report the scrum metrics (team velocity, backlog status)
- Interface with scrum masters project managers of other teams to manage dependencies and prepare joint plans
- Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences for smooth execution
- Coach the team on agile practices to ensure project success
Desired Candidate Profile
- Scrum Master who has led the development efforts of a dynamic and energetic software platform development team.
- In this role,
she/ he will be having an opportunity to collaborate and work with other specialists across the company in solving the complex problems using cutting edge technologies to push the company forward.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or relevant field
- 3+ years of proven work experience in software development testing software project management. Minimum 3 years of experience as Scrum Master Kanban process manager.
- SAFe Scrum master certification is a plus
- Robust knowledge of agile methodologies frameworks SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
- Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills
- In-depth knowledge of software development process
- Experience with large scale complex software development program will be a big plus to succeed in this role
- The candidate should have a high-level understanding of software architecture and its various layers like backend and frontend
- Attention to details, team-player mindset and positive attitude are key to thrive in this role
- Should embrace diversity and have excellent people interaction and negotiation skills
