About the role:
Hold the prepared environment for a mixed-age group of children aged 3 to 6. Give children their lessons, follow each child closely, and guide the assistant. This role suits someone with Montessori training or classroom experience, or a strong readiness to take it on.

Additional requirements for this role:

- Montessori training for the 3 to 6 age group, or relevant classroom experience, is valued
- Ability to guide and work alongside a classroom assistant

Your Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain the workplace so children can work freely and with concentration
- Present materials and give lessons in practical life, sensorial work, and early language and number, and follow each child's progress
- Observe daily and keep a developmental record for each child
- Plan the work and respond to what each child is ready for next
- Guide the assistant, share observations, and plan together
- Be the main point of contact for parents of the children in your group
- Identify unmet learner needs and design or source materials to meet them

We are looking for candidates who have:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Background in Psychology (preferred)
- Artistic talents (painting, singing, poetry, music, speech & drama, design) are a huge bonus
- Awareness of alternative learning methods




- Prior experience working with children (desirable)
- Ability to research and design lessons on any topic sparked by children's curiosity
- Skills or interest in designing and creating learning materials

Most importantly: Candidates must possess an awareness of children's needs and the ability to reflect and re-align oneself and the environment with the child's best interest in mind.
