Position Requirement:

Requires a strong technical skill, proven project management experience, understanding of
the business issues, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and experience with staff
coordination is an advantage

Purpose of Position:

Specifies and coordinates the search and implementation of projects to reduce the material load

of the vehicle within sophisticated technical areas – whole vehicle, serial and recent projects.

Recommends reduction of product cost within the process of model care and new equipment.

Coordinate realization of the project within the VW group and R&D.;

Tasks:

1. Performs search and realization of savings potential, including analysis, evaluation and processing

of documentation for internal gremia and FMK (Material Costs Forum) / preparing materials for

Board of Directors.

2. Coordinates and methodically leads a project team of experts from R&D; departments to

implement the project tasks in finding and realizing savings potential.

3. Assigns tasks to verify potential,



including evaluation within internal gremia, FMK (Material Costs

Forum) negotiations.

4. Proposes a process of realization of savings potential – within internal gremia negotiations and

FMK (Material Costs Forum)

5. Provide information and negotiate technical solution with respect to the fulfillment of savings

measures for the model series – within SAIPL and SKODA HQ, FMK (Material Costs Forum).

6. Organizes the implementation of the measures / decisions from the internal gremia and FMK

(Material Costs Forum)

7. Evaluates the measures on the basis of a competition analysis - within a confined area, competitive

wagons

8. Analyzes the potential of technical solutions and development trends in competing vehicles

9. Evaluates the measure based on a competition analysis

10. Supervises the fulfillment of the target and regularly reports project progress to the Team Head.
