Job Summary

Eternal Light Public School is seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to teach High School students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will inspire scientific thinking, develop practical laboratory skills, and help students build a strong foundation in chemistry through engaging classroom instruction and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry to High School students following the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and examination papers.
- Explain chemical concepts through interactive teaching methods and practical demonstrations.
- Conduct laboratory experiments safely and guide students in laboratory activities.
- Develop students' analytical, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
- Assess and evaluate students through class tests, practicals, assignments, and examinations.




- Maintain laboratory records, inventory of chemicals, and ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic support wherever required.
- Maintain attendance records, academic documentation, and performance reports.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and academic planning.

Eligibility / Requirements

- M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry with B.Ed. (Mandatory for CBSE schools)
- Minimum 1–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
- Solid subject knowledge in Chemistry and laboratory practices.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and computer skills.
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for students.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
