Job Summary:

The Mortgage Underwriting Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs focused on US mortgage underwriting, with strong expertise in the 4 Cs Capacity, Credit, Collateral, and Capital. This role ensures underwriters are equipped to evaluate loan applications accurately while adhering to US regulatory guidelines.

Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)

Shift: Night Shift (US Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and update training materials on US mortgage underwriting practices and regulations.
- Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions for new hires and existing underwriters.
- Customize training content based on business needs and regulatory updates.
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Conventional, FHA, VA,



and USDA underwriting guidelines.
- Stay updated with US mortgage regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams, QA, and HR to identify training gaps.
- Maintain training documentation and submit performance reports to management.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in US mortgage underwriting.
- At least 2 years in a training, mentoring, or coaching role.
- Solid knowledge of US mortgage regulations and underwriting standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in LMS and virtual training tools.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
