Job Title: Procurement Officer Location: Mumbai, India Work Mode: Hybrid Experience Required: 2–3 Years Employment Type: Full time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination activities supporting offshore and pipeline coating projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, procurement expertise, and the ability to collaborate with technical and project teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full procurement lifecycle including sourcing, supplier evaluation, purchase order issuance, and supplier relationship management Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable delivery schedules with vendors Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics partners for local and international shipments Ensure compliance with Incoterms, import/export documentation, and international trade regulations Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery/quality issues with corrective actions Maintain procurement records, contracts,



and pricing agreements for audits and reporting Collaborate with project, technical, and operations teams to align procurement with project specifications and schedules Support procurement planning to meet operational and project deadlines Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field Experience 2–3 years of procurement experience Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, EPC, Heavy Industry, or related sectors preferred Technical Skills Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor development, and procurement processes Understanding of Incoterms, import/export documentation, and trade compliance Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) ERP system experience is an advantage Key Competencies Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills High attention to detail and organizational capability
