Travanleo > Sr. Software Engineer/Technical Lead – Java

Job description

Role :

Travanleo is hiring strong Sr. Software Engineer/ Technical Lead (Spring Boot/Hibernate) with 7 to 9 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will work on projects based on the Java platform and the latest technologies and closely work with multiple teams on solutioning and technical guidance, problem solving, code reviews etc. If you are an enterprising individual, have a great attitude, and a desire to succeed, you are welcome to apply for this position. Responsibilities :

- Solution design in multiple projects
- Collaborating with different project teams and help them to identify and fix technical issues




- Code review and provide an adequate recommendation
- Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
- Identify and address production and non-production application issues
- Learn and adopt the latest technology trends in the application development process
- Develop application code for software programs related to the latest technologies

Desired Skills and Competencies:

- Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- Java Application Servers (E.g. Tomcat, JBOSS)
- Web service development using REST, SOAP, JPA,
- Database design knowledge in Oracle, MySQL, or any RDBMS and also knowledge in “No SQL” databases
- Java application security standards, OAuth
- Experience & knowledge in Android/PHP/JavaScript, HTML5/CSS is a plus
- Good understanding of OOPs concepts
- Good understanding of SCRUM, Agile
- Strong knowledge of user interfaces, coding standards, and common frameworks
- Fast learner, who is willing to learn new technologies, processes, etc.
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills to effectively work as a team player and engage at all levels in the organization.
- A pro-active individual who doesn’t need to be managed and flexible with a “can-do” attitude, being able to take on new tasks and who is ready to go that extra mile to achieve excellent results

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a bachelor’s degree in Science/Diploma holders from reputed universities.
