Tool Maker (Mold Assy & Maintenance)

Responsibility:

Ø Involve in design reviews and share assembly related improvement points.

Ø Document and maintain Mold assembly file.

Ø To complete the mold assembly within the estimated time.

Ø Attend, observe and document Mold trials.

Ø To close all the open points of previous trial by next trial.

Ø Produce 100% visually OK parts in T0 trial.

Ø Qualification of Molds within 3 trials (T0 T1 &T2;).

Ø Complete the T1 trial with all elements assembled.

Ø Mold shipment to customers after meeting the customer requirements.

Job Description:

Ø Collect inserts and mold elements from stores based on the BOM only after quality approval.

Ø Any deviations in quality to be mutually discussed and approved.

Ø All inserts are to be visually checked and ensured before taking for assembly.

Ø Ensure Zero Handling damages of inserts from assembly.

Ø Assembly procedures to be followed for respective tools as per the instruction shared.

Ø Estimated assembly hours will be shared before assembly and the same to be followed.

Ø Ensure assembly is completed within the estimated hours.

Ø Ensure 100% entry of the data is entered in INDEEYA.

Ø Trial check list to be filled out and shared before every trial.

Ø Tool maker to attend the tool trial.

Ø All previous trial observations must be closed before the next trial.





Ø Do not initiate T1 trial without CFT sign off against T0 trial observations.

Ø 100% Aesthetic OK parts in T0 - any deviation should be discussed before trial.

Ø Ensure Tool Qualification within T0-T2 – 3 trials.

Ø Minimize assembly related rejections < 2% of Manufacturing Estimated hours.

Ø Mold dispatch procedures to be followed and check list to be filled and signed before dispatch.

Ø Always maintain 5’S.

Ø Understanding customer requirements on Mold qualification

Ø Managing & conducting proto, T1 & T2 trials as necessary.

Ø Exploring new assembly techniques and procedures.

Goals:

Ø OTDP: On time trial of Molds

Ø Mold qualification within 3 trials

Ø Zero handling damages of inserts

Ø 5S and safety (zero accidents)

Laison:

Ø Projects: transferring input from customers on project requirements to the respective department.

Ø Tool Manufacturing: On time delivery of inserts/ elements as per the drawing spec.

Ø Purchase: On time delivery of std elements and mold base from suppliers.

Ø Quality: Inspection of mold elements and generating FA reports.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
