About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Engineering to lead the Engineering & Maintenance function for a reputed multi-specialty hospital. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in hospital engineering operations and be capable of ensuring uninterrupted functioning of all critical infrastructure, utilities, and engineering services while maintaining compliance with healthcare and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the hospital's Engineering & Maintenance department.
- Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of all engineering systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, medical gas pipeline systems, DG sets, water treatment plants, and fire safety systems.
- Monitor and ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical hospital infrastructure such as Operation Theatres, ICUs, Emergency Departments, and other patient care areas.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Manage engineering staff, contractors, vendors, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC/CMC).
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, fire safety norms, electrical safety, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare maintenance budgets,



monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Coordinate engineering projects, renovations, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Maintain proper documentation, maintenance records, and audit readiness at all times.

Key Requirements

- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Robust knowledge of hospital infrastructure, MEP systems, HVAC, medical gas pipeline systems, DG sets, water treatment plants, and fire safety systems.
- Experience in handling engineering teams, vendors, and maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with NABH standards and healthcare facility regulations.
- Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
