About Sense Kaleidoscopes

Sense Kaleidoscopes is a learning community that designs education from the child outward, not from textbooks inward. We work with autistic children and young adults who have often been failed by conventional systems — academically, emotionally, and socially.

This is slow work.

It is demanding work.

And it is deeply meaningful.

We are building learning, dignity, emotional regulation, and livelihood pathways — not quick outcomes or cosmetic inclusion.

Role Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing learning plans week after week
- Working closely with children on learning, emotional regulation, and social understanding
- Adapting curriculum creatively — because no two learners are the same
- Observing progress carefully and documenting growth with honesty
- Collaborating with a small, committed team on curriculum and practice development
- Being present — emotionally, mentally, physically — every single day

This role requires consistency, reflection, and stamina.

Educational Requirements

You don’t need to “fit a box” — but you do need intent.

- Backgrounds in autism, education, psychology, humanities, or social work are welcome
- Formal special education training is valued but not mandatory




- Freshers are welcome if willing to learn deeply and unlearn quickly

We especially welcome educators aligned with child-centred and alternative pedagogies, including:

- Waldorf
- Krishnamurti-inspired learning
- Montessori
- Play-based approaches
- Trauma-informed, relational perspectives (including those influenced by Gabor Maté)

What matters most is how you think, how you relate to children, and how you show up each day — not the certificates you carry.

This role is for you if:

- You can stay emotionally regulated in intense situations
- You are willing to work long hours when the work demands it
- You care more about children and ideas than titles and timelines
