US-based e-commerce platform to hire for this role. They run an
online marketplace connecting independent sellers with buyers
across North America, handling tens of thousands of orders a day —
great support is what keeps sellers coming back. The role You'll
handle inbound live chat and email support for buyers and sellers
on the platform — resolving order issues, answering account
questions, and escalating disputes to the team. Rapid, friendly, and
accurate — that's what the role is about. What you'll do Handle
inbound live chat queries from buyers and sellers in real time
Resolve order issues including refunds, missing items, and delivery
disputes Answer account and billing questions accurately and
clearly Escalate complex cases to specialist teams with a clear




summary Follow scripts and SOPs while using good judgment when
situations are unusual What you'll need Clear, friendly written
English — you communicate with confidence Fast typist — comfortable
managing multiple chat conversations at once Calm under pressure —
support queues can get busy and tone matters Reliable and punctual
— you're online for your shift on time Nice to have Previous live
chat or e-commerce customer support experience Familiarity with
Shopify, Gorgias, or Freshdesk Understanding of basic e-commerce
