Assistant Manager (Electrical Design & Engineering) Department: Design & Engineering Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India Reporting To: D&E; Head Job Objective Lead the Electrical Design & Engineering activities for MW-scale Ground Mounted Solar Power Plants, Rooftop Solar Power Plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Substation projects up to 220 kV. Key Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Installation teams to ensure client requirements and internal deadlines are met. Ensure timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents. Ensure engineering deliverables are aligned with project schedules. Perform accurate system sizing calculations. Execute designs in compliance with grid codes and permitting requirements. Manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously. Estimate and plan engineering man-hour requirements. Gather market feedback to improve product offerings. Provide technical sales support by educating prospective customers and building technical confidence. Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental reviews and checks. Provide technical support and clarifications to the Site Execution Team. Review pre-award vendor evaluations against client technical specifications and submit validation documents to SCM. Review equipment from finalized vendors after validation approval. Clarify design-related requirements and issues with the Site Execution Team. Collect project inputs such as plot details and feeder arrangements from clients and Project Engineering Managers. Review drawings prepared by Design Engineers and Draftspersons. Review design and sizing calculations for electrical equipment and obtain client approvals. Review vendor engineering deliverables. Coordinate with Operations teams for design approvals. Drive cost optimization initiatives. Drive design optimization initiatives. Conduct tender risk and cost analysis. Prepare pre-bid tender queries. Perform energy estimation and risk analysis. Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Ensure 80% of bids are submitted with complete technical documentation. Contribute to achieving a 10% tender win rate through engineering and cost inputs. Education B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Working knowledge of Solar and Substation projects. Experience Minimum 8+ years of experience in Design & Engineering. Technical Competencies Ability to design MW-scale ground-mounted Solar Power Plants and Substations up to 220 kV. Extensive experience in electrical project engineering. Good working knowledge of PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Willingness to undertake field visits. Ability to perform project management responsibilities when required.
