Location: Haridwar District, Uttarakhand
Employment Type: Full time
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Reporting To: Program Manager

Purpose of the Role

The Life Skills Mentor will support the implementation of the Girls' Education Program by conducting life skills and career guidance sessions, mentoring tutors, engaging with students and parents, and ensuring effective field implementation, monitoring, and documentation of program activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct life skills and career guidance sessions for adolescent girls.
- Support and mentor school tutors through regular observations and feedback.
- Conduct home visits and parent meetings to improve student engagement and retention.
- Coordinate with schools, School Management Committees (SMCs), government stakeholders, and community partners.
- Monitor student attendance, assessments, and program quality.
- Maintain program records, update MIS, prepare reports, and document case studies and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

- Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, Gender Studies, or a related field.




- 1–2 years of experience in girls' education, youth development, life skills training, or community programs.
- Experience working with government schools and communities is preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of monitoring, reporting, and data documentation.
- Willingness to travel extensively within project areas.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Deliver 95%+ planned sessions with high participation.
- Mentor tutors and ensure implementation of improvement plans.
- Complete planned home visits and parent meetings.
- Maintain student attendance and retention targets.
- Ensure timely reporting, MIS updates, and quality documentation.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and support effective program implementation.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
