Video Editor (Experienced – Events & Traditional Ceremonies)

Ernest Media is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with experience in wedding, traditional, and event videography. The ideal candidate should be able to transform raw footage into cinematic stories that capture genuine emotions and unforgettable moments.

Responsibilities

- Edit wedding films, traditional ceremonies (Upanayanam, Seemantham, Ayush Homam, Shashtiapthapoorthi, etc.), birthdays, corporate events, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, highlight videos, teasers, and cinematic event films.
- Perform color correction, color grading, audio synchronization, and sound design.
- Add titles, transitions, motion graphics, and subtitles where required.
- Organize and manage large volumes of event footage efficiently.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to deliver high-quality content within deadlines.
- Ensure every video aligns with the client's expectations and Ernest Media's quality standards.





Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Prior experience editing weddings, traditional ceremonies, and live events is mandatory.
- Robust proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and animations.
- Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, music selection, and emotional sequencing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel featuring event and traditional videos is mandatory.

- Experience editing cinematic wedding films.
- Experience working in a photography or event production company.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflow optimization.
- Basic knowledge of photography and cinematography principles.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
