We are looking for Junior Back-end Software Engineer (Java) As a Junior Software Engineer at WirelessCar, you will be a proactive member of a collaborative engineering team where ownership, quality, and continuous improvement are key. You will work independently on well-defined back-end solutions, taking responsibility for your tasks from start to finish while knowing when to ask for input or feedback. Additionally: At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development using Java 11+. Practical experience with unit testing using JUnit and basic TDD principles. Experience using Git in a collaborative, team-based development environment. Experience working in Agile teams (e.g. Scrum or similar frameworks). Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS). English, Fluent – Spoken and written. Beneficial: Certifications in back-end frameworks or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure). Experience working in a DevOps workplace. Experience with microservices-based architectures. Knowledge of any other programming language is considered an advantage. Experience working in global organizations with diverse teams and cultures. Experience using CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications. Way of working The work location for this role is in in our office in central Bangalore, India.
