Pre-Operative (Before Surgery)

- Theatre Setup: Prepare the operating room by arranging surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to specific surgery protocols. [1]
- Sterilization: Ensure all surgical tools, drapes, and machines are thoroughly sanitized and free of infection-causing agents. [1]
- Patient Prep: Transport patients to the OT, help position them correctly on the operating table, and connect necessary medical monitors. [1, 2]

2. Intra-Operative (During Surgery)

- Direct Assistance: Pass sterile instruments, sponges, and supplies to surgeons as needed to ensure procedures run smoothly.
- Anesthesia Support: Assist the anesthetist by monitoring patient vital signs and operating anesthesia machines.
- Safety & Counts:



Strictly follow "never event" protocols by maintaining accurate counts of instruments and sponges to prevent items from being retained in the patient. [1, 2, 3]

3. Post-Operative (After Surgery)

- Patient Transfer: Safely transfer the recovering patient from the operating table to the post-anesthesia care unit or intensive care unit.
- Cleaning & Restocking: Clean used instruments, re-sterilize them for future use, dispose of biomedical waste, and restock the OT

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
