About Aneesh & Nandan

Aneesh & Nandan, Chartered Accountants is a growing practice offering Audit, Tax, and Advisory services to clients across diverse industries. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to run the firm's day-to-day accounting — keeping the books current, accurate, and reconciled every single day.

Role Summary

This is a hands-on execution role. The Financial Analyst is responsible for the daily heartbeat of the finance function: recording transactions, closing the books each day, and reconciling every bank account so the numbers are always accurate and up to date. You will work closely under the Finance Manager and be the person who ensures nothing is left pending at the end of the day.

Key Responsibilities

1. Day-to-Day Accounting & Daily Book Closing

- Record all daily transactions — sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments — accurately in the accounting/ERP system
- Close the books on a daily basis, ensuring every entry is posted, tagged, and up to date before day-end
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger, debtor, and creditor accounts on an ongoing basis
- Ensure proper supporting documentation and voucher backup for every entry

2. Bank & Cash Reconciliation

- Perform daily bank reconciliations across all bank accounts
- Reconcile cash, wallets, and payment-gateway/collection accounts
- Identify, investigate, and transparent discrepancies promptly, escalating unresolved items

3. Compliance Support

- Prepare and keep ready the working data for GST, TDS, and income tax filings
- Assist with GSTR-2B/2A reconciliation and TDS/TCS computations
- Ensure data is accurate and available in time for statutory due dates

4. Reporting & Closing Support

- Prepare periodic MIS schedules, ledgers, and supporting workings
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Flag unusual movements or anomalies during daily and periodic reviews

5. Coordination

- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams to obtain data and documents
- Provide schedules and reconciliations to support auditors during audits

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter or semi-qualified candidates a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or book-keeping, preferably in a CA firm or finance function
- Hands-on with Tally/ERP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
- Working understanding of GST and TDS basics
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and ownership of deliverables (required)
- Discipline and consistency to close books daily and meet deadlines without follow-up
- Good communication and a willingness to learn

What the Role Offers

- A strong foundation in end-to-end accounting, reconciliation, and compliance
- Direct mentorship from the Finance Manager and exposure to the full finance function
- A clear path to grow into senior finance and reviewer roles within the firm
- Compensation commensurate with experience, as per industry standards
