Job Description – E3D Piping Designer (6 month Contract)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced E3D Piping Designer to join our engineering team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D for designing and modeling piping systems for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, or EPC projects. The candidate should be capable of delivering high-quality 3D models and piping deliverables while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain 3D piping models using AVEVA E3D.
- Prepare piping layouts, equipment layouts, and piping isometrics.
- Perform piping routing considering process, safety, maintenance, and construction requirements.
- Generate piping deliverables such as GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings.
- Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams.
- Review P&IDs;, equipment layouts, and project specifications before modeling.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, client specifications, and industry codes.
- Resolve design clashes using E3D clash detection tools.




- Support engineering reviews and incorporate client comments.
- Deliver assigned work within project schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in AVEVA E3D.Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification in AVEVA E3D will be an added advantage.
- Valuable understanding of piping design principles and industry standards.
- Experience in piping layout development and equipment modeling.
- Knowledge of piping supports, piping materials, and isometric generation.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs;, plot plans, and vendor drawings.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification in AVEVA E3D will be an added advantage.

Experience Required

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in piping design using AVEVA E3D.
