Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant – Apollo Pharmacy

About the Role

Apollo Pharmacy is looking for a qualified, customer-centric Pharmacist/Pharmacy Assistant to provide safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical services. The role involves dispensing medications, counseling customers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and supporting efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately, following established clinical, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions to verify dosage, identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and other medication-related concerns.
- Counsel customers on the proper use of medications, including dosage, administration, storage, potential side effects, and adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
- Promote preventive healthcare by providing guidance on wellness, self-care, and appropriate use of healthcare products.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, State Pharmacy Council regulations, professional standards,



and Apollo Pharmacy policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, billing transactions, inventory movements, and other required pharmacy documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, maintain appropriate storage conditions, and track product expiries to ensure medicine availability and quality.
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related queries when required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally, empathetically, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workplace in accordance with operational, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support health awareness initiatives, vaccination drives, health camps, and other community healthcare programs as assigned.
- Assist in achieving pharmacy operational goals by adhering to standard operating procedures and contributing to continuous process improvement.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
