- A minimum graduate level qualification in software engineering
- A track record of delivering projects within schedule
- At Least 8 to 10 years experience in Software services or Product development Managed team size of 10 to 15 people
- The ability to document coding as per relevant standards
- Previous experience of handling audits
- Knowledge of Good Coding Practices
- A positive attitude and show innovation ability
- A strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks
- An Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- An understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Job Description

- Lead internal software development team
- Carry out periodic appraisals of software development team
- Lead product and services development improvements
- Maintain, implement and oversee project plans for software development




- Liaise with the Chief Technical Officer on all issues relating to the Division
- Support CTO and others on QA matters
- Write well designed, testable, productive code by using best software development practices
- Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation/ technical documentation
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
